It Was A Campy Weekend

WordCamp and PodCamp’s were over the last few days, Friday – Sunday. I went to the all day WordCamp conference on Friday. Matt Mullenweg (founding developer of WordPress) was part of a panel where he answered all things WP. Merlin Mann also spoke, OMG, he’s awesome! After all that jazz about WP, I was totally excited about getting down and dirty in sessions at PodCamp on Saturday and Sunday, to dig in and learn how to work WordPress. I’m pretty excited to be able to create a website for a client where when I’m done with it, I can hand it to them and they can take over from there and do most updating, themselves. First, I’m gonna start with my own portfolio site, which I’ve been wanting to update for a while now anyway.
Camping ‘09 Polaroid Photobook
In complete contrast to the two beautiful, clean-styled books I have completed in the last month, this little camping memoir is small and grungy. Chris and I took the dogs camping this weekend and I brought along one of my favorite toys, my polaroid camera. We managed to become incredibly filthy so I thought this book should reflect that. It turned out pretty cool especially since polaroids also have the reputation for being mucky, perfect!
